6 Leadership Qualities that matter the most
As a researcher, contributor, and leadership expert with 45 years of executive management and training experience, I take note each day on LinkedIn of the leadership quotes and memes that people contribute. Whilst many of these are very helpful and largely correct, if you were to list them all in one place, it would be impossible for anyone person to put them all into practice. And whilst people are trying to be helpful, unfortunately, the ‘How to do it” is left out.
This made me think about how many people take these Leadership Qualities on board and actually do something about them? And more importantly, what is the minimum of Leadership Qualities that yield the greatest results?
The answer is there are six Leadership Qualities that I have proven to change a manager and a team’s behaviours that they go on to produce superior outcomes. These same six qualities are part of my High-Performance Team training program.
The six Leadership Qualities are:

3. Shared Leadership.

6. Empowerment.
