High-Performance Management and Teams

Mandatory, Highly Desirable, Nice to Have

Classify/Prioritise by using Mandatory, Highly Desirable, Nice to Have.

This technique lets you speed through many different types of work.

Great for Project Planning

Record Tasks as Mandatory, Highly desirable or Nice to have. Imagine you are doing a project scoping exercise; each task being considered for inclusion can quickly be classified this way.

Now assuming you have a fixed end or delivery date for the project, you can quickly estimate and schedule just the Mandatory tasks first and then the Highly desirables followed by the Nice to haves until you run out of project effort or duration.

Priority setting, organizing your notepad and task setting

It is perfect for organizing all sorts of lists, tasks for delegation and anything that needs a priority set.
